Question about gifts for preschool before/aftercare teachers

Anonymous
My DS goes to half-day preschool but goes to before care every day and stays for aftercare three days of the week. For the holidays, I want to give some gifts but am struggling with how to handle it because there are so many different teachers involved.

It's a great preschool, and I know the teachers are paid well (for preschool teachers), but I still would typically want to give a small gift card as a gift. He has two "main teachers" for the main part of the day, and so I assume I will get them a gift card. However, I'm struggling with how to handle the before and after care teachers. There's one primary before care teacher who seems to run things and is almost always there in the mornings. There are usually 2-3 other teachers who are in the room as well. Two of them are also there almost every day, and who the third person is rotates depending on the day (teachers from various classes rotate in to add coverage as needed). For after care, there are 3 teachers, but I only see two of them regularly because the other one usually leaves before I come for pick-up, and I have very little contact with her.

Basically, I don't know whether I should just forget it and only get gifts for the "main teachers," assuming the others pretty much all have their own classes (except maybe the main before care teacher, who is more of a floater). Otherwise, I'd be giving 9-10 teachers gift cards, and that seems excessive (and would mean I couldn't give more than a very small amount to each). I was thinking of getting something small like chocolates and giving to most of these people, even without a card or money. But even for that, the logistics of it will be difficult, since I would have to track everyone down.

Help!

OP again. Just as an FYI, by "have their own classes," I mean that most of these people who work in before and after care are "main teachers" for a class other than my son's during the main part of the day.
