Has anyone else been watching this? She passed away of stage IV colon cancer on Dec. 5th, but her amazing story is just starting to come out.

Saw this the other day. Apparently she had a high fever and was fighting a blood infection during filming.
Four total wins now, I think. Good for her. |

| Holy crap. Thanks for posting. I had no idea. I had been casually watching thinking that she seemed like such an odd bird and that her voice was weird. 41 is so young to die but especially from colon cancer. |

Apparently not so much any more. Colon cancer rates have been on a real upswing among those under 50. There's even been talk of lowering the age for that initial colonoscopy from 50 to 40. |

| Yes very sad. The first night we watched we laughed ourselves silly over her wispy little voice. Then I read some articles online about her story and felt just awful. A real reminder to not judge a book by its cover. ? I'm glad she got to fulfill her dream of being on Jeopardy and I hope she will rest in peace. |

| So I'm going to record the Jeopardy show for tonight (Monday) and see they have replaced it with a football pregame show. ARGHHHHHH. Does anyone know if there is any other way to watch it? (Verizon Fios) |

| I play in an online trivia league and Cindy was a member. I didn't know her but her partner posted when she passed away and let us know to watch her on Jeopardy. It's so sad and far too young. |

I was amazed how sharp she was as sick as she was, can you imagine what she was like in full health. Such a sad story.

They should air it tomorrow. I felt so awful when I read that she died but very happy she got to go on the show. |

| They ran a crawler at the bottom of the football that said the episode was airing on News Channel 8 instead. I watched it. She was in the hole for a good bit but came back to win it. She seemed tired and I now totally see her behavior/affect as exhaustion and not weirdness. She said her hobby was collecting nail polish at the chatty bit and Alex totally dismissed her as he usually does with the contestants. |
