I binge watched this series on back to back international flights. Sad to hear it wasn't picked up for a second season.

The characters really moved me, and I lived in that world in the early 90s. Shocking how not much had changed, just more subtle.

It was bad. We stopped after 3 episodes. They made marriage out to be awful and everyone married on the show was unhappy. Not convincing.

It took place in the 70s, not the 90s

Maybe you weren't paying attention. They made marriages where women got married because they were suppose to - and give up their careers - because they were suppose to - awful. That was probably very true in the 70s.

Interesting. This makes sense. No women were in the room to help them realize with the election of Donald Trump, this show was about to get a freaking ass huge ratings bump.
