I've been to Hawaii several times, but never with kids. My kids ages range from 14 to 4. Has anyone ever been to Aulani? Is it worth it or am I better off getting a VRBO rental near the beach and doing my own thing? I like the idea of the convenience and customer service of a Disney resort, but I also don't mind cooking on vacation and exploring on our own. Thoughts?
