| I need to get DS a white button-down dress shirt. boys extra-large either just barely fit him or are way too small. Men's small fit him in the body but the arms are very very long, and all the extra material looks ridiculous. please suggest some places I can take DS this weekend to try on the shirts. We are in Montgomery county but will go where we have to. |
| Have you tried Sears? Their boys' sizes run all the way up to 20 and I can still find shirts and jackets for my tween boy. |
| I've found Old Navy to have good in between sizes. |
| Wash in hot, dry in hot and try to shrink?? |
I have never gotten this method to work in a useful way. Most cottons are pre-shrunk, especially dress shirts. |
Old Navy was to big in the arms. Target was also. DS didn't fit into boys sizes at either of these places either. |
. I have not tried Sears yet. Going to try there this weekend. Thanks. |

TJ Maxx. They have an XS men's section and also the XXL boys' stuff (size 20).
I've also had good luck with Amazon for these awkward sizes. DS wears a 26x32 pant size. Impossible to find offline. |
| expensive but vineyard vines works for my boy--age 13, 5'7" but thin, wears like a boys 18 or 20, men's sizes too large. it's an awkward age for sure |
