| Everything under the tree (Santa and otherwise) was always wrapped. A friend recently to!d me Santa's gifts all came assembled on Xmas Eve and were downstairs waiting, maybe with a bow...curious how this is done in everyone's homes. |
| Wrapped. Santa has his own paper. |
| In my family growing up, santa's presents were always wrapped. In my DH's family, santa's Gifts came assembled and were placed under the tree without being wrapped. For our kids, we are adopting DH's method. |

Not at mine growing up.
He did at dh's house. I finally convinced DH last Christmas that my parents way was better. 1. Less work. 2. Santa doesn't need to wrap! He's not hiding the gifts under the tree throughout December. He's dropping them off and THATs the surprise. 3. When your kid realizes they saw that wrapping paper in the house... 4. His items are usually verge large or awkwardly shaped. |
| Yes. Everything is wrapped. |
| yes, except big things that are too hard to wrap - those get a bow. |
|
Yes for stuff in boxes/easily wrappable shapes. Big stuff is staged around the tree.
Santa has also discovered gift bags, which makes things easier. |
Same here. Santa's paper has pictures of Santa in it.
|
| Santa does not wrap. Gifts from mom and dad are wrapped. Santa brings the most gifts and always brings the odd shaped gifts. |
| NO. Santa does not wrap. That's how you know it's from Santa! |
| Yes we wrap from Santa for the sole reason of prolonging the surprise for the kids. I love seeing them squeal with excitement after every gift instead of just once. |
| We wrap presents with recycled paper bags or newspaper - no need to schelp to the store or spend money on wrapping paper. It doesn't take long at all to wrap a handful of gifts of each child, and watching them open their gifts is so sweet. |
| When my kids were little, Santa did not wrap. Alll the toys were set up and ready to play with. Our living room looked like a Christmas toy store! I loved it! Now that they are older, everything is wrapped except really big items. |
| This ridiculous question is why we don't do Santa. My goodness...get real problems. |

Growing up Santa delivered unwrapped, pre-assembled presents! And that's the route I hope to go as my kids grow up. (SO Much less work)
My husband grew up with TWO present deliveries from Santa (one on Xmas eve and one christmas morning). Xmas eve presents were delivered on the porch in a gigantic santa bag (wrapped in the bag) while they were at mass. Then xmas morning they woke up to another round of wrapped presents, this time under the tree. I refuse to wrap that many presents. |
