Ok This is not a fashion question because I wear these tops to play sports. Does anyone have a suggestion for brands that are not skin tight? I am 60 and fitted is no longer a good look on me.
Under Armour makes loose fit technical shirts. I have also started sizing up in shirts to give myself a little extra room. My problem is I'm pretty flat chested so can't wear a bigger size in a running tank without it looking ridiculous. Less of an issue with sleeved shirts.
+1 on Under Armour. They have a certain style of top that looks a little sheer and fits loosely. I have them in 5 colors because although I'm not that old and not chunky, I'm just not comfortable in very tight clothes. I love them. They've been around awhile so the outlet usually has them, too. |
I just bought one that I love for $4.50 at Primark!
I recently bought a bunch of the C9 shirts at Target. They are pretty good, and not terribly expensive. the trick might also be to buy things one size up. I don't mind body-conscious but I don't like skin-tight so I sometimes go up to a size L depending on the cut.
OP here - I am 5' so sizing up makes the top longer and shortening the top adds another $15 on to the price. Lululemon claim they do free alterations, but not on shirts.
