Dance/Theater Program in W Schools?

Do any of the W schools offer a Dance or Theater program? Similar to the program that Blake has.

All of the W schools have a drama/theater department after school program - with performances.

But do any have anything as part of the curriculum, like the Musical Theatre Academy at Northwood, or the drama department at Einstein?

No!

Really, einstein has something that the W schools don't. I'm so excited!

With their graduation rates as low as they are it is no wonder they need to put some idiot classes on the books to keep the kids occupied least they wonder the halls. The W's are to busy with stuff like math and science and if they want some fluff they will have to make time after school for it. What next you are going to brag about the auto mechanic shop class and the fundamentals of math class where they learn to tip and provide change? Pandering down is not brag worthy

What classes are you referring to? Music and drama certainly aren't "idiot classes." Have you ever taken a series of arts classes? What do you think the students do? 'Cause whatever you think their curriculum is, you're apparently wrong.

I know the W's are so much better than these non-W schools, and many kids from poorer areas would benefit if they'd simply begin bussing them there to the W's. This would also help with desegregation by closing the achievement gap.

Riding bus for an hour won't make your kids smarter or more successful. It will just hide their mediocrity in a pool of families that are better at life.
