Help with cycle

Anonymous
Trying to figure out how my cycle goes without temping (it makes me too crazy/focused on stats), so I'm keeping track of other signs.

Based on last month's signs, when would you say my most fertile time was?

CD1 - CD4: AF

CD16 - CD18: EWCM

CD20: very light spotting (not enough to even go onto a panty liner, but noticeable when wiping; brown-ish)

CD22: cramping like you have just before AF

Cycle length: 28 days

Would the spotting on CD20 be due to ovulation?

I've usually understood spotting to coincide with implantation. But, it depends on your cycle and if you timed doing the BD to when you are ovulating. Would recommend using the Ovia app to chart and better understand your cycle and symptoms.

Also try the ovulation predictor strips. The First Response smiley face ones are the most expensive but also most user friendly. I used wondfo's to narrow down the window then FR when I was close.

I did use the FR smiley face ones last month. Never got the smiley. Then I read that some women test 2 or 3x a day to nail down the surge, so I was thinking about ordering the Wondfo's for that, using the FR to confirm.

So, the question is that if I'm getting EWCM on CD16 - CD18, when should I start testing with the Wondfo's? CD 12 or CD13? Too early?

Based on the details you gave there is just no way to predict when you ovulated. I second using an app and OPK. Start using the OpKs in day 12 and after a couple months you should see a pattern.

You can spot during ovulation, but if you're not ovulating until day 20 and you have a 28 day cycle that means your literal phase is way too short, which would be an issue since it should be 10-14 days. My guess would be that you're Oing around day 16.

Thanks, I'll start with day 12 this month!
