Heavy period after MC

Has anyone on her had a miscarriage? Curious to know what your periods were like after. Pre-MC, my periods were light to medium and lasted 3 days max. My first period after my MC was still light to medium, but lasted 8 days. Now, I am on day 3 of my second period and it has been insanely heavy. I was bleeding through tampons every hour so I switched to a super pad and have used 2 so far today. I have also had bad cramps which is not something I usually experience.

Is this normal? Does it get better after a few cycles, or is this my new period?

Yes to both question - it was horrible and heavy but in a couple months was back to normal

Yep. Pretty rough
