ARFID/extreme selective eating

Anonymous
We are scheduled for our first appointment at Children's Hospital feeding clinic for our 5 year old DC, after being referred by our pediatrician. I'm curious to hear about people's experiences there, and what we might expect by way of treatment? Obviously, I know every child's needs are different, but I'd love to hear anyone's feedback on how the various supports worked for you and your child. We have a terrific, creative, funny child who is such a joy, but just hates eating. It's clearly a source of anxiety, fear, and stress, which is so hard to watch.

Hi, OP, I didn't see this post earlier. My older child ( teen) was diagnosed with ARFID but not at children's.

How did your appointment go?
