Playgroup or playdate for 3.5 year old girl in Vienna/Dunn Loring, VA

| We are moving to the area from out of state right after Christmas 2016. Our older daughter is 3.5 (4 in March), and I'm worried she will be lonely. Anyone have a playgroup going in the area out a daughter of similar age and open to playdates? We will be in temporary housing by Dunn Loring metro until we find a house but are committed to finding a home in Vienna. I know at this age parents getting along is key so we are both professional, late thirties liberal- leaning laid back sorts moving up from Atlanta. Our younger daughter is almost 2 in case anyone has kids of both ages. Thanks! |

| Look into joining Vienna Moms. They have organized playgroups. |

| Try to get her on a list for one of the pre-schools. There are a bunch in the area that offer a few day/week, morning only, etc. options. |

| I'm sure a bunch of the preschools in Vienna still have space - kids are always joining thru the school year. |

You will definitely want to join Vienna Moms. It's a wonderful resource for play dates and just about anything else!
