6 year old wants a wooden backyard playhouse -- would it be a waste at this age?

I'm thinking these are for younger kids but at 6, how many years or much use would it get?

Get one that can double as a garden shed.

Or get a trampoline that can act as a treehouse.

Get it!--- my kids stay and play with the one at their grandparents and they are 12 and 14 if it's there they will use it

Make sure there is a playhouse off the ground. At age 9, that is where my 9 year old likes to hang out with friends.

If it's fairly big and she's into imaginative play, I think it's a good purchase. We had a decent sized log cabin (like 4 kids could fit in it) and we played in there until 11 or so. Made it a fort, and all that.

Why not get one of those Creative Playthings wooden swing set/forts. My kids got a TON of use out of their play system.

My 7.5 and 5 year old play on our every.single.day. More when friends are over. Ours has a clubhosue on the top.

That's a bit different. There's a novelty associated with it if it's at gramp's house, but not so novel if it's in your own backyard.
