Help! Georgetown Pre-K recommendations

Dear Parents,
We're looking for a pre-k school in and around Georgetown for our toddler who'll be turning 3 next year. We'd love to hear parents' experiences with the Georgetown Montessori, the Children's House of Washington, St. John's, Little Folks and the French Maternal, and any other schools in the vicinity. We have so far managed to visit a few, but find all of the information, the philosophies etc completely overwhelming and find it hard to decide! So any insights would be greatly appreciated.

You are looking at very different schools. Some are full day. Some are half day. Some are Montessori. some Reggio, some play-based. Some mixed-age, some not. Do you plan to send your child to public or private after preschool?

You should try to narrow the choices down a bit. You can find lots of info. on St. Johns, Little Folks and French Maternal by searching the archives.
