Safe facial products?

My face is breaking out and I really want to take care of it. Prior to pregnancy, I used a salicylic solution which I know I can't use now. What can I use that's effective?

I got scared reading this b/c I had not heard this and used proactiv last pregnancy and this pregnancy which has salicylic solution.

I googled this and found that in small amount applied topically it is ok.

I've been using a face wash by Belli specifically for ace during pregnancy and my skin has been great. Its not the cheapest but its really nice and I feel completely comfortable using it.

I asked my doctor about this and she said that if it isn't prescription, don't worry about the salicylic acid - the concentration is too low to affect you.
