Has anyone stayed at Logan Philadelphia? We are interested in going for a long weekend in January with our two year old for a local getaway before baby #2 arrives in March. We are looking for nice hotel with amenities, indoor pool, and great room service-- and most importantly a suite because sharing a room with toddler is not relaxing. The Logan seems to meet these requirements and Philly seems to have a few fun things to do with a toddler (and I will sneak to spa for part of that!). Any feedback on the hotel or other recommendations?
Ive stayed at the Four Seasons many times. Didn't know it changed hands! As the Four Seasons it was a lovely hotel. Nice rooms, nice lobby area, good food.
The drawback is the location. It's located on a busy traffic circle. You're close to the Academy of Sciences but it's not a walking neighborhood, lots of super busy streets and high speed traffic. Not the kind of place where you walk out the door and there are restaurants, etc. But if you just nee da hotel it's a nice hotel. I would choose the Rittenhouse area or Old City or Society Hill.
We took our two kids there a few months ago. They enjoyed it, and the pool was a hit. I wouldn't say it was anything spectacular, but it was a nice hotel and we had a great trip.
