anyone dealing with Thanksgiving cycle schedule stress for monitoring etc.?

I need to go out of town and I am in the estrogen phase of a FET. I have a lining check tomorrow at CD 12 (10 days after starting the estrogen), but I am hoping I don't need to go back on CD 14 (which would be Thanksgiving). Can I hold over extra time on the estrogen until I am back on Saturday?

you can but it could compromise the cycle. why did you start around the holiday if you knew you were travelling?

Because my clinic has a cut off for a December shut down and because I'm only going away for 2 to 3 days and FET has less monitoring

How would more time on estrogen compromise a FET cycle doesn't your lining just continue to thicken and stay how it is

Because if it's trilaminar and you continue the estrogen you risk the lining pattern becoming grainy. Hopefully that won't happen to you but that's the risk of extending thebestrogen.

oh, the lining pattern can change? doesn't it change once you start the PIO anyways?

Depending on where you're traveling, you might be able to find a clinic open to do monitoring, but you'd need to get on that now.

Ask your nurse. I would not change your med protocol on your own.

My experience with FETs has always been very simple and didn't need much monitoring (one baseline appt., one appt. before starting progesterone).
