What scooter for an almost 7 year old

1st grader still using his micro mini, which he has definitely outgrown, but I cannot figure out what to buy next. Had assumed the maxi, but it seems like everyone his age has a Razor. And there are a million different Razor models from the looks of it on Amazon.

We got the Micro Maxi and our 9 year old still loves it.

My daughter had a maxi scooter until 6 and then moved onto a Razor and loves it. Just the basic A kick scooter

Once they are older (10-13) they usually prefer the Lux A5

Each kid got Razor at 6... I selected the model based on the color that they wanted.
