+1 I don’t mind Carole but her exit statement is so condescending and over the top. Good riddance.

+2

I haven't liked her this season at all and this basically validates my opinion of her.

“I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind,” she added. “My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament.”

She ended her statement with sincerity and wit. “I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind,” Radziwill wrote. “I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next.”

Thank goodness is all I have to say.

Ugh.

What is this part all about? Clearly the viewers have not all been supportive, encouraging, and kind. She's gotten a lot of hate this season. Why say this? And then in the next section you say that you'll remember the whole experience with accuracy?

Um.

Not surprised. When she isn't travelling doesn't Carole spend half her time in Los Angeles anyway?

Doing a happy dance she added nothing to the show and I could not take looking at her anymore...so unattractive then to accentuate it with that horrible haircut and the most hideous clothes...ouch. Goodbye don't let the door hit you not the way out, mean granny.

Do you think Carole left or got fired? Sometimes its obvious…like Kenya…totally fired. But this time I wasn't sure??

I don't know, but I think it would set a dangerous precedent if anyone who doesn't get along with B or crosses B, is forced out (or made so uncomfortable they leave of their own accord).

True, but B's jealous of Carole right back. Money can buy you a lot, but it can't buy you Kennedy connections. You think B hasn't salivated over the photos of Carole attending black-tie events with John F. Kennedy, Jr., and doesn't listen with great interest whenever Carole mentions Mrs. Radziwill? Bethenny's books and even her novels are full of outsider-looking-in encounters with celebrities. She craves fame, but there's only a certain kind of fame that she has attained.

NP I do not agree at all. Carole was considered by most in that clan to be a "hanger oner". She is loathed by that bunch now that she has crossed over to the dark side of reality TV but keeps that Kennedy association in her pocket to remind people that at one point she was relevant.
How do I know? My sister went to school and is still very good friends with one of them. They vacation together, she was her maid of honor, etc...so yes we get a lot of the inside scoop.

I think Carole comes across extremely insecure and threatened by Bethanny's admittedly "tough shell". C is trying out a new personality and to say it is not faring well is a major understatement. From her horrible and tasteless clothing choices (that only a 22 year old could get away with) to her mean girl antics right down to how she picks a friend of the month and brown noses them to no end is very off putting.

She is no prize in the girlfriend or friend dept. Adam made a very wise decision in moving on. She almost looked like she could be his mother.

Hi to this poster. I just saw on a blind gossip site that Carole (it might be Carole) is actually gay and is getting off reality tv, in part, because it's hard to keep up pretenses and yap on and on about man-drama like the show demands. Can you confirm this? I'd guess that being in the know, the family would already know this about her, right?

My guess is she quit because the writing was on the wall that she was going to get fired and she pre-empted it.

By the way, if B could force out anyone she wanted to, Ramona would have been gone years ago.

Until maybe about 3 episodes ago, people were definitely on Team Carole, or at least torn. Bethenny did not come off well in the Berkshires argument, yelling at her about her age. But things have definitely shifted recently. I think Carole could see by the reunion filming, and at the reunion filming, that this can only get worse for her. I'm not too sad to see THIS Carole go, but I did like her when she was first on the show.

Ironically, what made me start to not like her was when she and Bethenny were mean girl friends, teaming up on Jules. Being mean to LuAnn was one thing--there was genuine bad behavior on both sides there. But Jules was nothing but nice, and maybe a little dumb, but dumb is not a crime. They were so mean to her from the very beginning. I didn't love Jules for the show, but you can't say she wasn't nice and didn't try to genuinely make friends.

Im always curious how much some of these "middle level" ladies make. Not an OG, but been around awhile, not super famous before the show but has a name, etc etc. Like I know Nene makes a shitload as do a few others but Im genuinely curious how much an average housewife makes. I honestly think some of the women (LUANN) truly do COUNT on the money.

Most of the housewives clothes posted on Thred UP are sold out. Tiny sizes of course.
I can definitely fit it to Luann's statement necklaces though, so she should hurry up and get rehabbed to post that horde.

Bethenny saying at that little lunch table, "Oh, it feels like old days. The original girls, I like this energy" and all that was such a move. You could tell she was doing it to keep LuAnn close and start to reel Ramona in. And it totally worked.

My favorite Housewives friendship was Carole and Heather Thomson. That felt pretty authentic. Too bad Carole had to gravitate towards Bethenny when Heather left the show.
