How about adults act like adults

At u15 + there are very few parents at practice so if you 1. feel you need to go to practice and 2. feel the need to wear nothing more power to you but dont complain when 1. your kid hates you and 2 other parents talk about you. Maybe games are a little different as most parents go to those but still, pick your battles.

My kid already hates me. : )

Look around you! for the last 18 months, i cant see that many of us are clear on what “acting like an adult” means anymore.

At any soccer game, for as long as i can recall, there has always been adults acting like infants and idiots.

OP, how about you put on some horse blinders? Your kids see the same stuff on social media and the internet.

NP- we're not. We would say the same thing if dad showed up shirtless in his 3 in speedo running shorts.

You mean 80’s coach attire?

Our early 90s coach used to talk with us while seated knees wide and a hole in his crotch. All the girls looked sick to their stomach but looking back I wish we had just let him know. We figured he'd find out but he kept wearing them.

People who are really fit are always dressed like that because they are coming or going to a work out and the in between is not as important to them as being dressed appropriately for their workout. It is like their lifestyle uniform and I am not bothered by it. The only time its obnoxious is when they start doing burpees on the sideline. Walk a bit further out and do that.
