OP, I have a very large cup size and small band so can only find bras at Nordstrom or specialty shops. They are usually around $70.
I get fitted at the store and buy 1 or 2 there since I am using their service, then I go to ebay and buy new ones of the same kind for a fraction of the price, usually ~$25. Always hang to dry. ALWAYS. |

I like bras very much and have a lot of them. I keep them for years and years. Most of them are Chantelle, size 32F. Here's what I have:
9 "all-purpose" bras, 2 of which are clear favorites in terms of comfort. Various colors -- nude, black, purple, blue and rose. Some of them are lace, but supportive enough for everyday wear. 2 minimizer bras, 1 purple and one black 2 deep plunge bras, 1 nude, 1 light blue 6 fancy lace bras of various colors, not practical for all-day wear 4 sports bras that I haven't worn since I stopped going to barre class three years ago. I usually wear a bra twice before washing. If it is one of my favorites, I might wear it three times if I have been indoors all day not doing anything sweaty. I wash them in the machine in lingerie bags, always on cold, preferably on gentle cycle (but not always). I always hang them to dry. |

I have 3 regular wear-in-the-city or to work bras.
Probably 4-5 older out of general rotation bras that I wear for really sweaty outdoor days (like hiking). A couple of sports bras that fit badly. 2-3 bralettes in case I have to wear something under pajamas if I am a houseguest. |
