| Love Minerva. Hate Miranda |
| Not a fan. |
| I think I know too many pets named Minerva. |
Frigg was a cool goddess too but you’d never give that name to a sweet innocent baby, right? (If you’re English-speaking anyway) |
Huh? Nice try, dummy! |
| Too soon to itch the Harry Potter franchise. |
Seriously. Worst attempted deployment of “Karen” ever. Many people know what Minerva is associated with. But the sound of the word, plus it’s outdated feel, means a lot of us don’t like it. The name Athena is better. |
| I can only think of Mirena. |

Really if we took a poll it’s wouldn’t be white suburban women the dont like it vs everybody else? |
| +1000 on Athena |
Sounds like you’re naming her after the birth control pill. |
They mean "meconium" which is the first stool of an infant or maybe "melena" which is stool containing digested blood usually from a bleed/ulcer in the stomach. Adults can have melena too, PP |
| Is that a prescription medication for lady issues? It's HORRIBLE |
Many people in this thread have no clue about the origin of Minerva. |
