If you keep returning to the same Caribbean Island

Beaches are nowhere near as nice in Antigua, Bahamas, St. Kitts, St Barts, BVI, USVI, Barbados, Puerto Rico. French side of St. Martin (Orient Beach) was nice but don’t know how it is now. My favorite has always been T & C. Grace Bay beach is gorgeous and so uncrowded....

?

Where did you go to the beach on the islands you didn’t like?

I enjoyed amazing beaches on Antigua, Barbados and St. Kitts. Uncrowded. Turquoise water. Soft white sand (pink in Barbados).

Aruba was just meh.

Grand Cayman. I have little kids and it's just relaxing, easy and safe. United has a direct flight from Dulles. We rent a condo on 7-mile beach that has a pool and is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants at Camana Bay. We rent a car so we can visit the other side of the island and to shop for necessities. It's expensive but I can find everything we need easily so no worries about forgetting something when packing.

That said, I haven't been to many islands. We took a cruise once and stopped in Puerto Rico. I would like to go back there.

Not since the last hurricane.

Why? We went since the last hurricane and did tons of snorkeling from the beach.
