Is it worth it to pay for a small liberal arts college?

Went to Dartmouth- not technically a liberal arts college, but thought it had the best of both worlds. Very strong undergraduate education akin to a medium-to-large LAC, but with the added professional schools and research assets of a larger research university. In fact, I think many applicants interested in Williams, Amherst, etc. do also look to Dartmouth within the Ivy League....
