The Great Falls team seems to have lost a couple players mid season. Lost to Vienna 3-0 in the “state cup”.

Half of the great falls team switched to McLean this year as well as many from Arlington. McLean 2009 team is top in the area. Unfortunately no one will ever know because they just scrimmage other McLean teams. Playing in the McLean tournament against other McLean teams. And too afraid to play any real competition in Arlington ASSIST or Jeff Cup

We've played Loudoun and McLean in competitive games and friendlies. Loudoun is the better team and it's really not close.

Looks like Alexandria and Bethesda ECNL tied over the weekend. That doesn't say much about the Bethesda team. Yikes!

This is the Strikers 2nd team. The 1st team could meet Loudoun in Jefferson Cup next weekend.

Remember Richmond ECNL is an all stars team of all the best Richmond players so Richmond will likely get even stronger next year (no dilution).

Why is Great Falls in the 2nd Group at Arlington ASIST??? They even have Loudoun Red in top group. Doesn't make much sense to me. Were they penalized for having perhaps the most obnoxious coach in the DMV?

You didn't get the memo? Great falls isn't the same team from last year parents and players found out Metro was their pipeline so they did what any rational person would do

Actually, I think two of the players are currently playing for the 2008 Metro team but I could be wrong. I know one of them went to McLean.
