I feel comfortable buying from The Real Real.

A bag is just a container to schlep stuff around; spending thousands on one is pathetic.

What do you care how people spend their money?

Can I ask why you’re hanging out in the Fashion forum? Clothes are just fabric to wrap your body in for comfort and social custom. Same with shoes. And spending money on cosmetics when you already have a face, and already have a fragrance is probably superfluous given your stance on containers.

I, also, have a Timbuk2 — or two. Very practical, and they offer the fun option of choosing customized color combinations and other details for some of their bags.

RealReal. My most expensive is a gorgeous Prada that would retail for $3000. Got it for $700 at RR.

Good price for the cost of democracy!

Large (?) Neverfull
Husband doesn’t realize I don’t love labels, but it was sweet (now I have to carry it, though 🤣)

PP again: not that I don’t appreciate it and think it’s a lovely bag!

I hate labels also, but that bag is a tank. I love mine and don't care that some people hat the LV label.

My bra is just something to carry my boobs in, but I spend money on nice lingerie. Am I pathetic also?

How is pathetic to spend money on something you like?

My most expensive purse is a Coach that I bought used on Ebay for $30

Celine Trapeze in red. $2400

St. Laurent croc print leather shopping tote. $1,200.

Take it with me everywhere. Also came with a small clutch/coin purse. Closes with a nice chain to connect on a loop towards the top that I never use. I place a scarf on top to hide my sometimes mess (have an insert, it helps), and keep nosey eyes out of.

But spending $200 on “a container to schlep stuff around” is a-ok? Sounds like you might be a bit of a hypocrite.

Not a hypocrite, just lacking perspective about how much $200 dollars is to most people.

A lot for a purse? Lol
