+1 It looks like an SNL sketch in which they are satirizing Betty Draper in Mad Men, using an ugly wig and actress with purposefully odd facial expressions. (January Jones actually suited the look in a way this unfortunate woman does not; JJ's hair was maintained well, with no visible roots or jarringly contrasting eybrows/orange skin).

I thought it was Cosplay - Cosplay of an uptight Connecticut WASP. Same with her boyfriend. She’d probably look really nice with light brown/caramel hair and natural eyebrows.

YES. I think you nailed it- I think she is self-conscious of her long face/chin so she chooses not to smile. She really needs to go for a more natural mona lisa smile though. And fix the brows. I'm rooting for her to get her look right!

I think she would look beautiful with a natural shade of blonde that suits her colouring.

I know one person who did this horrible bleach blonde look, and she paid $$$ at a renowned salon to get it. It looked OK right when she came home from the salon, but after that it always seemed just dry and terribly damaged. Also, I remember her saying her new hair felt "slimy" whenever it got wet. You can't just dye over that kind of bleached-out damage. If you do this, OP, you are going to have to fully grown out your hair if you want to go back to a more natural look.

Yes, her shoulders and hands are quite large. I think she would look great in monotones in jewel colors, plus hair that didn't clash so badly with her skin tone/roots. Her designs are lovely on the models, though.
