I am still finding it MIND-BOGGLING that they didn’t change to...you know...a different hotel or normal venue when the Four Seasons wasn’t available. All they needed was for someone to film it and a few reporters. A quick announcement would have had folks showing up to the other venue. Why in the WORLD did they think THIS was the better solution?!!?

This is the direct result of Trump’s refusal to admit to any flaws or retract anything he’s said, and his surrounding himself with people who keep his delicate ego bubble wrapped in denial and delusion so that he doesn’t have to confront reality - because they know they’ll face his wrath if they don’t keep him happy. When you look at this press conference, it’s not hard to see why they’ve failed so miserably at handling covid.

After such a stressful four years, an especially horrific 2020, and an excruciating week of watching election results, this was truly a gift.

I am so glad some of the big press outlets picked it up and wrote stories.....my fear was that it would just be twitter jokes. It is forever captured and documented. Such a perfect ending. And also couldn't be a more clear symbol that they have nothing.
