charter parents -- envious DCPS at least has a plan?

Not jealous of the current plan. But also not happy with the decision of our school to stay like this till Jan & most probably all school year. A decent DL is still in no way comparable to some in-person interactions, and I refuse to believe that it's an all or nothing game.

No amount of money would make me want the responsibility of a school leader amid this pandemic - public, charter, or private. We are desperate to get our kids back in school, in any form possible. But, the minute there's a COVID outbreak, the school will have to shut down for some period of time and parents will demand answers as to how the outbreak happened, with the specter of investigations and lawsuits. There's just no easy answer during this horrible time and I remain grateful not being the one at the top having to make AND own the decision.

Stay safe everyone.

Honestly, I'm at least glad my teachers aren't unionized because the WTU is acting like a bunch of entitled brats.
