Is it wrong I don't want my kids to have brown eyes?

Ah the classic argument of the stupid-“they’re just jealous!” Given the problematic and, frankly, racist history of preference for blue eyes, I can see why many people would be upset by this question.

Yep, you are indeed jealous. If you saw my beautiful blue yes, you would want them too.

If you’re nonwhite, maaybe. If you’re white hard pass.

That’s... not how dominant genes work.

Two brown-eyed parents with recessive blue genes can certainly have blue-eyed children. Bio 101.

I think people with blue eyes tend to get noticed more for them because most people don't have them.

Brown eyes are also beautiful, and there are advantages to having them, just like there are advantages to having blue eyes. https://www.webmd.com/eye-health/ss/slideshow-eye-color-health

It won't really matter. You'll love your kids regardless of their eye color.

No, it's not wrong. It's perfectly rational. People accept that taller people are more easily promoted to management. Seems like the same is true for blue eyes. So, good luck.

That’s interesting, because I generally assume (unfairly, of course) that blue-eyed people are either evil or dumb, or a little of both.

That describes my boss pretty well

Only if they came with a beautiful face, beautiful thick hair, and a fit, slim body. Otherwise, no.

It's ok, OP. I want my baby's eyes to be like mine and not like my spouse's eyes. I have blue-gray eyes, he has light brown.

LOL! what a thing to worry about and find boring. I have brown eyes and have gotten plenty of compliments about them. Who TF says blue eyes are more interesting than brown ones. Do you have similar ideas about other body parts as well?
