When can high school students see their class schedule?

nothing for Walter Johnson or Tilden yet - both schools said 8/25 they would be available but might not be final yet. they also said they would hand out schedules at the orientations tomorrow.

Yes. Typically when they enter there will be big posters on the walls indicating which last names are in which homerooms, with the teachers' names and room numbers. Then the homeroom teacher will hand out paper copies of each student's schedule.

Why is it so hard for them to stay assigned to the same teacher for both semesters? Five out of my kid's seven classes have different teachers listed for Semester 2.

One-semester electives mean that everyone’s schedules get upended, even if they’re not taking one. It’s a complicated web.

But is there that much faithfulness to the syllabus that every teacher covers the same amount of material the first semester, such that when they switch teachers in January there's nothing missed, or repeated?
