As far as disinfecting - I believe it is similar to other cleaning products. You have to leave it sit for 10 minutes (which is what bleach says on its bottle also). Iffind it cleans my bathroom as well as other products and does a better job at cleaning my kitchen sink (visable stains).

Now, I admit, I have started keeping Clorex cleaning clothes around for when I am dealing with raw chicken, because raw chicken freaks me out.

And if you only want one of the item, it's half price. Periodically, they double coupons up to $1.98. They had that a few weeks ago, and I was able to get some items free. Also, the Rockville store has a $5 off coupon on a $40 purchase in their ad in the Post and Gazette usually (not in the in-store ad). It used to be $10, which really helped offset their higher prices.

I usually spend about $400 total a month, incuding cat food and paper products, but it's just me and a teen in our household. I take my lunch, but DD buys hers for about $60 a month. We spend about $100 eating out, but I'd like to cut back on that.

Huh, I never knew that! Good to know since sometimes I really don't need two giant boxes of Rice Krispies, but buy them because I want to BOGO price. Love when they double up to $1.98 - I basically use all my coupons worth over a dollar then and it really adds up.

Another vinegar lady here- I do the same thing- I have a small reserve of cleaning cloths that I use very rarely, but for things like this.

Vinegar really does work well. It just takes a bit to get used to the smell, which is really only while you are spraying / cleaning and for a few minutes afterwards. I've been a convert for 6 months and will not go back. Just put some in some empty spray bottles and you're good to go!

I'm also trying to learn about the magic of Borax- heard that is also a great natural cleaner. Admittedly all I have done so far is buy a box at Whole Foods, but its a start.
