I don't think people are "gleeful" on here. I think, as you said, people are just pointing out his stupidity.

We could all post their names and pictures and say - yay stupid person got what was coming to them - but we don't - because it is just a horrible way to treat individual people.

I believe people on here were saying how stupid the spring breakers were too. No one knows their political leanings.

This is not about politics, really. Anyone who doesn't practice social distancing at this point is an idiot, and if they get the virus because of it, well.. "natural consequences" and all that. I feel sorry for the healthcare workers though who have to take care of these idiots, and other people who might have come across such idiots.

There are many Rs who are practicing social distancing.

I would also add - stay at home, practice social distancing, make your own masks, don;t hoard essentials, practise lockdown procedures, limit grocery runs, and use a teledoc for help with non-emergency.
