I’m in the same boat as the previous poster. Some actually enjoy driving cars and it is a cost effective way to go if you want a stylish, well handling, fun car to own after the previous owner has taken the depreciation. If you view car ownership as strictly transportation, than luxury/sports cars will never have any value to you no matter the price. If you know what you are looking for, you can mitigate the risks of owning a German car. I also will work on my own car on occasion, but will just take the parts to my mechanic for maintenance which isn't significantly cost more than other cars for labor. |
