I liked that it wasnt too small, thus visible. And then one day I caught site of the necklace reflected in a mirror and decided it looked like cursive or other writing. Now I am in the market for something else, possibly in yellow gold.

That's pretty. It's too bad so many of these places only use silver and gold. I'm terribly allergic and can only wear platinum but seemingly only the big (expensive) names use that metal. Sigh.

That's a ridiculous article. The Queen wears honking big diamond brooches before 6 pm pretty much every day.

Besides, if you're going to be a real stickler about it, it's no gem stones at all before 6 pm (other than your engagement ring) and there's a entire school of thought that finds colored gemstones of any kind gauche at any hour of the day.
