So please explain, because multi day absences are a big issue for my students--whether legitimate health issues or family vacations, missing 2 days of block scheduled high school math is rough to recover from. If you have a realistic solution, I'd love to hear it. I have students absent every single day, if there is something that can simplify my life and theirs, please tell me! Right now I'm uploading every day's lessons (completed notes as a pdf, uploaded class slides, answer keys to anything done in class, homework and keys) and then pulling absent students for small group instruction during class or the remediation block, or working with them after school. Every time a kid is absent, it adds a lot of work to my plate--I'd appreciate the opportunity to simplify things. |
Oh so just yours. Lol it’s still a no. Imagine your boss asked you to record, take notes and distill the essence of everything you did each day at work and post it for your colleagues who may have been on vacation or sick or just didn’t feel like attending that meeting to view and see. Every single day. Because one of them might miss something each day. Also you get no extra pay or time for this. And if they don’t watch it and catch up you still need to track them down personally and go over it all again for them 1:1. You’re ridiculous. |
