It’s weird that he dated his brothers widow as soon as his brother flatlined. Hunter was playing furckle [father/uncle] to his nieces/nephews for a year plus and now he’s dumped their mother for a wealthy trustfunder. That’s gotta be hurtful for the kids. I’m sure the only way to get through those family holiday dinners is by drinking from start to finish. Yes, I do think his new wife is pregnant.

You’re the one who needs to compare. But since I lost my father’s mother to a slow and long painful death from Alzheimer’s, but not before I lost my father to a glioblastoma. The person with the brain cancer and short diagnoses caused substantially more mental damage to those in my family in comparison to the Alzheimer’s. Not that both didn’t cause devastation, but one moved slow enough to cope with what was happening.

Yeah, I went there. A long, slow, financially devastating and mentally/emotionally draining loss from Alzheimer's is probably one of the worst ways to go that I can think of. You lose the person well before they die and you get to deal with ongoing expense of their care which is not cheap and often goes on and on for years.

He went for a younger woman who looks good in bikini and has no kids. I am not surprised. He is also a pig. Every family has one. My BIL is an asshole and there is not much we can do. I feel sorry for Joe Biden's family. The tragedy for them is there brilliant, handsome, decent son died and this piece of crap lived.

Except he probably ruined his kids’ relationship with their cousin by dating his SIL and spending more time with his nieces and nephews than with his kids... he also def made any family gatherings awful.
