Re McGill - my DD goes there (and loves it BTW). She has plenty of U.S. friends there that don’t speak a word of French. It’s not required at all.

We're touring McGill this summer to give our NOVA DD an option; we're not Canadian....but the tuition seems affordable.

The value of American Uni’s value is in its basic research contributions. No other countries can match that.

Ummm....McGill posts tuition rates for their degree programs. Depending on a degree program, highest international is ~45CAD.

OK, then why are over 1 million students a year coming here from overseas to study in our colleges and universities? Why are their parents paying full freight even for grad school in the U.S.?


This. And, they aren't all going to HYPS either.
