Nope. These are overalls. Coveralls are generally a type of garmet worn over clothes, e.g., think CSI. Jumpers in the US are sleeveless dresses worn over a blouse or sweater. Sweaters are called jumpers in England. Dungarees are the same as blue jeans.

No, jeans are jeans in England. Dungarees are what English people call the overalls in the OP's post.

NP- Dungarees are indeed a type of jeans. The US Navy had them as a working uniform for years. Blue jeans, with front pockets and a slightly flair/bell bottom.

There are still people who view farming as a profitable occupation?

Seriously? You know that big area between the east and west coasts? Lots of farms.

Middle America?

Great Counting Crows reference “Omaha, somewhere in middle America...”

Which confirms I’m old enough to have worn overalls in the 90s. My friends have them now and my DD5 asked for a pair recently.

During the 90s I had no idea how great most of the music of that time period was going to be in comparison to the music of today 2019.

On threads like this, they usually start with people totally out of touch with fashion trends declaring the item unfashionable. Who are you people?! Is it one outspoken, out of touch person or multiple oblivious people? Look. Before you start bashing people as unfashionable, please find out what fashions are considered current. Overalls are having a moment right now and are definitely in fashion. Yeesh.
