| ^^^^ forgot to mention moral ambivalence as well |
Some people care more about spiritually than children being raped by clergy |
| My former parish has lost more members than it’s gained. Not too long ago, parking on Sunday’s was a huge problem. Not anymore. Lifelong members have abandoned the church. |
Would you say the same obnoxious thing about Judaism or Islam? |
NP. Ignore the hater. FWIW, pretty sure this troll only hates on Christianity. Anyway, I’m somebody this consumed with hate isn’t worth your time. |

Lol...why don't you focus on taking accountability for the Catholic Church's unending string of abuses rather than trying to misdirect criticism towards other religions? That's pretty much a textbook response from your church.....sadly predictable. |
Never would defend abuse but would not blame all Jews for crimes of other Jews or all Muslims for crimes of other Muslims. |
Of course not but I would absolutely blame the church hierarchy for institutional corruption, cover-ups, obfuscation and moral failures. |
Well I agree with you there. The people who have faith or try to have a relationship with God, not the people that corrupt the Church. |
I remember visiting a friend at Brown U. many years ago, and her Hindu roommate asked to visit the campus Catholic mass with me. She had attended mass only once before, at St. Peter's in Rome on travels. I was thrilled to take her and had absolutely no expectations. I was just so happy that she wanted to visit. |
