OP here. I, too, have a special needs child. He didn't like them either. Luckily it was one of the easiest skills to teach him because the motivator was so big (having the screen with sound). |
If you had a video of this you would be my hero. |
OP again, just reading more. So the special needs wasn't the problem. The problem was/is that his parent is a jerk. Got it, that makes more sense! |
No, he is not more important than me, or anybody else. You are breathtakingly selfish. |
You are having a hissy fit because you can't let a disabled child have some screentime because you can't be bothered to hear some music. Yeah, I'm the selfish one. Whatever. You are going to have a long life being constantly offended by the tiniest thing. For me I was just trying to get from point A to point B and have my child not scream. Because you wouldn't have liked that either, amiright? |
Thanks for taking the time to explain. What ridiculous parents. |
Hi trashy person I'll feel less guilty next time I tell you to turn it off |
No he's not |
Hahaha |
|
that’s cute.

On an airplane, I actually think it’s much harder to hear most devices than conversations since people tend to talk very loudly to overcome the hum of the plane. |
| I do this at the orthodontist but the volume is very low. They also play music there so it's really not a big deal. They have encouraged me to bring my 2 year old instead of hiring a babysitter. |

I have seen more adults have a conversation on their phone on speaker in public (!?!) than I have seen kids watching a show. I would in fact rather hear paw patrol than listen to both sides of a conversation held on speaker phone in a doctor waiting room or in line at the grocery store. Spare me now!

Adult conversations can blend together to be background noise
Stupid sound effects from video games or dialogue from kids shows never does |
