The grass was a bit higher than normal and slightly wet...So the little light flickered a bit and then died. The battery works just fine (tried it in my neighbor's Ego and it worked fine). I cleaned out the undercarriage (and yes, there was a lot of grass stuck in it). But it still isn't starting....DH gets home Saturday and will not be happy about this...Any ideas? Anyone experience something similar?
Here is the problem. The eGo lawn mower has a problem with the folding arm. When you fold it for storage, and unfold it, and do this several times, the aluminum (not copper) electrical connection in the arm of the mower becomes damaged. This is a known problem. Call eGo, tell them about the yellow light and the mower killing, etc, and they will walk you thru ensuring that the battery isn't bad (it isnt) and will refer you to a warranty dealer. I had to drive about 45 minutes to get there. They gave me a new mower on the spot.
