| We eloped and spent two weeks in the Caribbean. We are so happy we did! |
| Courthouse wedding with a dinner for around 25 people. Divorced now, but no regrets even if we had stayed married. I was in grad school, my parents are poor, and he was in a low paying job. We still managed to take a two week honeymoon and put a down payment on a house. |
Yes it was! And my DHs cousin showed up with a bunch of his Marine buddies including some foreign soldiers they had been working with. We had a ton of extra food so we could send some of it back to Quantico with them. And the rest of the leftovers we walked over to the Volunteer Fire Dept. So many amazing memories of that day and of the actual wedding. Almost twelve years ago! |
| Courthouse with parents. DH and I went to breakfast. Later that night we had a dinner in a restaurant with about 20 people. |
| We married at a mosque with a few friends. We celebrated at home with just the two of us and take out kabobs. No gifts. It was our first time being intimate that evening and it was very special. The next morning we moved out of state for grad school. We slept on the floor for over a week until our mattress was delivered. No regrets. |
| My parents eloped on NYE 1959. Marriage ended October 2005 when my Mom passed from breask cancer. so almost 46 years together. |
| Went to Las Vegas and got married at MGM Grand. My mom came and my uncle, aunt and cousin (who lived in LV). We did have a luncheon reception 3 months later at a restaurant in Maryland with about 75 people, and that was more because my mom's friends really pressured her into doing something but it was fun. The best part was it was simple and easy to plan. |

Thanks for the feedback.
We will probably elope and then take a long honeymoon. Reception/party after honeymoon. |
