It’s so gross when men wear necklaces

And Greeks, Italians, Latinos, Native Americans, Arabs, etc... where many men wear necklaces.

Yup, all cheesy. Not an attractive bunch.
One exception, Italian men ... with long luscious hair, Roman nose... a young Adonis.

And, pray tell, what do you look like?

Some of the the other PPs seem pretty prejudiced, probably against darker men in general, but I’m guessing this was not OPs intent to bring out this kind of reaction. Most men in my family and my husband’s family wear a gold chain with a religious medal, so to me this is normal. They are not wearing the chain to try to look hot!

I'm the PP accused of being a bigot. To clarify, I prefer dark-featured men, so it's not that. I think my aversion is to the chauvinistic machismo that usually accompanies shirts with too many buttons unbuttoned, with the curly chest hair and gold chains peeking out.

Why don't you spend this energy doing something about child trafficking, or helping doctors without borders, or the red cross, or the white helmets, deal with genocide?

Being serious- how old are you? Where are you encountering all these men walking around like extras on the set of Narcos?

My husband wears a Star of David. My kid wears a macrame necklace made for him by a friend. Neither of them are "gross" except in the eyes of shallow judgment-addicts such as yourself.

+1.

Men like jewelry, too. It seems that the posts on DCUM become more idiotic with each passing week.

I take it then that you are no fan of Mr. T from 1984??
