Even though I'm a SAHM and not African-American, of all the TV moms I remember, Claire Huxtable is the one I respond to the most (or want to, at least). Highly educated with high expectations and standards, never lets her kids walk over her or get away with things they shouldn't be doing, a great mom, fun when it's right to be fun and serious when it's right to be serious.
