Blankets in crib - when did you start?

+1 on the crochet blankets. This was what we gave when we first started giving a blanket to our kids (probably around 20-24 months).

You don't think crochet holes can get caught on things and twisted around? You know that's the bigger point, right, not the breathing under a blanket factor?
