My husband's brother pronounces the "t" and it drives him nuts!

I probably say it both ways, not even sure. We are all from DC/MD.

Here's more detail on pronunciation. Apparently pronouncing the t (which i often do) was a sign of lower class once the word itself was accepted as a substitute for oftentimes or offtimes (in which the t would be pronounced)
