Kelly Anne Conway looks rough

The problem is the makeup...
She needs to hire someone good. The foundation she is wearing has too much pearlescent/frost ...she should be wearing a different one. Liquid eye liner in black is too dark and too harsh for her age...she should be wearing a dark brown or lighter..and it should be a pencil..not liquid liner. Her hair is fried..probably needs deep condition and more care...low lights and she can keep face framing blonde highlights up front...maybe warmer and less ashy... good brow pencil... she works her ass off...and I think should treat herself to major professional makeup help from someone like Lisa Eldredge... who I think would be happy to help!

+1

Dark, countering makeup with defined eyes and lips is very aging past 27.

As we get older minimal, soft and strategic makeup looks best,

As a fellow Irish-American, I can say that her skin (on her face, chest, arms, hands) looks exactly like a lot of people in my family. Ugh. I hate it, but getting together at family reunions is like looking into a mirror into the future. It is NOT PRETTY.

She also looks like she has dry skin, hair, and nails. Again, I too have this. Her nails are thin and brittle, but could be improved with professional help. Her hair? Same thing. Make-up -- needs professional help and better suggestions.

She needs to take what she had been given genetically and up the ante now b/c she is in the public eye.

Someone mentioned her nails are gross. They look bitten. I'd start biting my nails again too if I worked in that administration. Give her a pass on that one!

She looks so much more youthful without that heavy black eyeliner!

She needs darker hair and lighter makeup.

Yes, I am a nail-biter too, but she should invest in once/twice weekly manicures with clear or a light-colored polish, if she is going to be appearing on television.

Yes, low-lights for the hair. Make-up with a lighter touch. Guided by a professional who knows what does and does not age a 50yo woman.

She looks rough (middle aged Jersey girl Barbie), but her husband is hideous too. And, of course, her boss and cabinet colleagues are worse if anything. If the Kennedys = Camelot, this lot = Dante's Inferno.

I am 47 with very fair skin and I can relate to how she looks. She's very thin so there's no natural plumping in her face. Working every day and not getting enough sleep both take a toll. Hair naturally thins (for many of us) when we reach our mid- to late- 40s. Low lights (darker color) washes out, but highlights only get lighter. She has to wear a lot of make-up for t.v. appearances and it cakes under the eyes and accentuates wrinkles. If she didn't wear as much make-up, she'd look washed out and people would call her frumpy. With a job and kids I don't have time at night for the "full" routine of retin a, special eye cream, special neck cream, etc. If I can wash my face and apply some moisturizer, it's a good night. Skin all over your body dries out like you wouldn't believe, especially your hands. All of the derm treatments she could and maybe does do, take time that she probably doesn't have right now.

^^^ oh, and not to mention, your eyesight goes, so you can't see anything up close. You need a magnifying mirror and lots of light to see what's going on.

I think a make under would work wonders for her: a new shorter hair cut (doesn't have to be too short, just above the shoulder, maybe all one length), and way less make up.

I think her main problem is her heavy makeup. If she would lighten up on that, and stop bleaching her hair, she would look better. Also, if she stopped being such an evil witch, that would help too.

You guys are so mean.

Kellyanne Conway has chosen to work for, promote, and lie for a man who has said the most distasteful things about women's appearances, has bragged about sexual assault, and boasted that he walked in on teenagers changed for a beauty pageant.

If she supports and promotes a president who behaves that way, I don't feel bad for her when others judge her looks. She thinks it's ok that her boss does, so why not strangers who see her on TV? Frankly I think there's been some excellent advice for her in this thread.
