WaPo: Trump put ketchup on his steak!

personally i hate steaks. i love meat but americans eat old animals and their meat is terrible.

Aged beef is the best beef there is, FYI. Proper butchers deliberately let their beef age before selling it (at a premium, of course). So if Americans are eating "old" beef, they're doing something right

I've eaten beef worldwide and there's two types of beef: grass fed or grain fed. North Americans mostly eat grain fed. One is not better than the other, it comes to personal preferences and what you grew up with.

+1

He just needs to sit in a laz-e-boy recliner yelling at the TV while watching FoxNews and he is EXACTLY my mentally-unhinged, racist FIL. Who is certainly a Trump supporter.

Yet you married his son. Desperate were you?

No one is allowed to put ketchup or any steak sauce on a steak I grill. They will have a great flavor and be tender and juicy.

But lots of people put ketchup on lots of stuff. I only use it for fries, onion rings and meatloaf sandwiches.
Are you this controlling in everything or just what your family and guests are allowed to ear?

Indeed. I once had people over for a cookout and served steak. A guest asked me for A-1 Steak Sauce. I was horribly offended and guest was never invited back. If you buy high quality meat and properly cook it, you never need A-1 sauce or ketchup!
Somehow I think your guest didn't mind never being invited by such a pompous, judgemental, controlling ass. Who the hell cares what condiments someone uses or if they use any at all. Eat your food the way you choose and mind your own business. Talk about pretentious.

Trump is an eat to live person. Just not interested in food. There are many people like that. It's not a moral flaw.

There are many people like that, with a lot of money but they never learned how to enjoy life with it. Some people love stale Hershey bars and turn their noses up at fine imported chocolate. They will never know what they're missing. They're incapable of it. Their palates only appreciate Kraft and Unilever products.
So what? Put your nose down before you drown in the next rainfall. If someone enjoys Hershey's how does that harm you at all? Pretentious much? People with your attitude generally show themselves to be posers.

The real issue here is not that someone puts ketchup on a steak but that so many of you still eat meat knowing how meat production destroys our environment and meat consumption drives up health care costs.

+1million! His choice of meat was an atrocious example to set.

Agreed. That's an example of the liberal elite mindset that costs elections.

Folks, this thread was created by a Trump supporter who was probably hoping to make liberals look like idiots and has succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. I'm going to put the thread out of my misery. Let's get back to more important issues.
