YES, read it to quickly on iphone. And now just got a second email from Barbara Egan inviting us to admitted students reception. So it's for sure. This is 9th Grade.

Unfortunately for 9th that is probably the case. DC's best friend got the email the exact same time we did so they were sent at once.

I also called the school and they were adamant that no emails were sent. However, given all of the people posting about acceptance emails, it appears that the person at the front desk is mistaken.

we are waiting for 6th grade. sounds like those emails went out already too. so if we didn't get one we're not in...

Was anyone admitted to first at GDS? If so, are you a sibling family?

GDS notifies accepted candidates by email and everyone else by regular mail. If you did not get an email today you did not get in and will get a letter in the mail.

This is SO CRAZY!!! I just called, too, & they are standing by 'no emails'. Said that if you did not get an email, that it is NOT true that you were not accepted, & do not believe that. I don't know what to believe.

I called and was told that they are not sending emails. Very strange. How about this - has anyone actually received an acceptance letter in the mail or been called by an existing family yet?
